Chris Sanders

Interview by Rock N’ Write

Sometimes my “rockstar radar” is on high alert. Lucky for me, it was ON the second I parked at The Can Club in anticipation to watch Mandy Lion and Lynch Mob perform. Sure enough, the long haired gentleman I noticed who was seemingly so familiar was none other than guitarist, producer and songwriter Chris Sanders.

Known amongst rock and metal fans around the world as the lead guitarist for many headlining bands, Chris has played prominent festivals such as Sweden Rock Festival, Bang Your Head, and Rocklahoma.

We got the invite from the good folks at Cleopatra Records to a Labor Day Weekend kickoff party at the Key Club for the Space Rock Invasion Tour. A gig like this was sure to be musician heavy. (You mean like a Joe Satriani show? Yes, that’s right, smartass!)

Stacey Wells @ The David Lawrence Gallery

Interviews by Rock N’ Write

Sunset Strip Music Festival got kicked off with artist Stacey Wells at The David Lawrence Gallery located in the heart of the Sunset Strip. Owner of RockStar Reflections, Wells showcased her eccentric and one-of-a-kind paintings of notable musicians such as Slash, Nikki Sixx, Jimi Hendrix along with LA sensations Run Devil Run and Love and a .38.

Check out my video interview with the artist, the bands, and even Mr. Lawrence himself as each discuss the love of art and music just before LA’s hottest festival of the summer!

Breaking News Shugsters!!!!

OH NO!! First I heard rumor, then finally found confirmation on the Iggy and The Stooges facebook page. Seems the ”news” websites are too busy writing about no talent “reality show” assholes. Get better soon Iggy, I got tixs for the Hollywood Palladium and I am super bumming….. waiting for re-schedule dates!

We got Love and a .38 to answer some of our questions – about music, life, guitar straps and The Sunset Strip Music Festival.

Big thanks to Tom Rosenburg of The Uncut Agency for his help. Herd cats much? And of course, thanks to Love and a .38 – Ryan Hudson, vocals, Krishna,  guitar , Justin Emord,  bass and Danny Excess, drums.
