A good dose of rock’n’roll and Southern Soul, part Delta Blues, some Country and jazz, part 60′s girl. Mix in a little punk, a little funk, and top that with a whole lot of fun, and you have the recipe for the sound of  Christine Ohlman a/k/a The Beehive Queen, the leader of Christine Ohlman & Rebel Montez.

Happy Thanksgiving !

Hey Shugsters, yes I am still alive and rocking. This past year has been a crazy ride for me. I got the long sought after promotion at the dreaded mundane day job, and since then I have been working 10 to 12 hours days and many Saturdays as well. Guess the old saying is true, “Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it” It has been tough, but I am thankful for the opportunity to learn some new skills and get a much needed paycheck.

Anyway, we here at SugarBuzz Magazine just wanted to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving. Did this year fly by or what??  Keep checking in, some great articles are on the way!

Love to each and every one of you!!!

An Italian hard livin’, Bukowski quotin’, renegade sleazy troubadour after my own black heart, in the noble tradition of such venerated western shirt wearers as Nikki Sudden, Neil Young, Dave Kusworth, and Tyla from Dogs D’Amour.
