Do you like road trips and weird local festivals as much as I do? If yes, take the direction to the desert, pass out Joshua Tree and go to the Wonder Valley, at 29Palms find the Amboy rd and stop your car around the Texaco water tank, take a look around you, yes you are in the middle of nowhere and now you will have so much fun at “Deserted at The Palms”.

It looks like a scene out of a mix movies of Wim Wenders and Alejandro Jodorowsky. Open your eyes and feel good, you are at The Palms, a dive bar owned by the brother and sister Laura and James, also musicians. And here starts the festival or better to name it, big happy friendly festive music party. Hosting on two stages one of the most exciting and eclectic line-up at 300 miles around..  The GardenThe Dead ShipsKim and The CreatedDeath Valley GirlsFartbarfHaunted SummerPearl Charles,Bloody Death SkullIsaac Rother & The PhantomsSex StainsPaul BergmannRUDY De ANDAStars At Night, Mild High Club

This one day and all ages festival (garage, psyche, artsypunk, bluesy rock affair) is the most surreal music party under a full blue moon I had to experiment in the desert. All acts have been delivered in the best way, the camping zone was at 3 giant feet , the ambience absolutely delicious as the fresh coconuts  opened just next to you. So I’m ready for one “encore” next year!
