On Saturday July 29th in the year of our Lord, 2017, legions of rock and rollers of all shapes and sizes will descend upon the Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood California for the 16th annual Cruefest Hollywood. Now some of you may say, “Why?” After all Motley Crue is done, rock and roll is dead, and nobody cares about some dumb charity fund raiser where the money goes God only knows were. Well I am here brothers and sisters to tell you, why after almost two decades, Cruefest Hollywood is more pertinent today than ever, that rock and roll is still alive and well, and where the money went.

My love affair with the band Lush steams back to the early nineties when I regularly haunted the Sunset Strip. I pretty much had free reign back in those days, bouncing from club to club as they all had an open door policy when it came to the Luckster. Being a DJ at The Rainbow Bar and Grill and a semi regular performing musician, I was entitled membership in the who’s who of Hollywood and thus just came and went as I chose.

ARNO, is a Belgian artist born in Ostend Belgium. He sings in a mixture of English, French and his Ostend dialect. He was the front man of TC Matic, one of the best known Belgian bands of the 80′s.

On May Saturday 17th, the stage El Rey theater transformed into the playground of two post-apocalyptician children, the Masters of Ceremony of The GOASTT family, i.e. Mother Charlotte and Father Sean.
