DANCE OF THE WICKED CD Review By Joanne (SugarBuzz Australian Correspondent) SugarBuzz Magazine |

| I have just received a treasure trove of cds in the mail through a friend that works for Sleazy Rider Records and the first one I have had a chance to listen to is Sister Sin Dance Of The Wicked. Now I know this one was released way back in September 2003 but I just had to review it. Firstly let me introduce to you the band, Firstly on lead vocals the gorgeous Liv Jagrell, on bass we have the handsome Mr Chris Casey, Mr Dave Fonda on drums and last but not least Johnny Sinn on Guitar. The band hails from Sweden. Where else does awesome rock music come from hey? Well, were do I begin with this one? This seven-track cd is breathe taking. Absolutely amazing. Hard-hitting rock n roll, sleazy, crazy and trashy all put into one. Liv’s voice is very sexy much like the wonderful Doro but in saying that I think that Liv has something over Doro. If Warlock were still around today then Doro would have had some competition. These guys remind me of the awesome sleaze bands I use to listen to as a kid and still listen to today. For me to sit here and try and pick a favourite track would be like trying to pick which kid I liked the most. Its just to hard they are all catchy tunes, but let me make mention the awesome rolling stones cover Sister Sin do of Paint It Black. Other titles of the cd include Kiss the sky, Dance of the wicked, Fall into my dreams, End of the beginning, Dirty Damn I and Tragedy loves company. That wraps up another review from the Jo. Check out Sister Sins web site at www.sistersin.com or http://www.sleaszyrider.com I am not too sure where you can get hear some of Sister Sins music but if you email the guys im sure they can do something for ya. |
