Down the dark rock road, careening to the forbidden shanty where the demonic damsel dwells, the forbidden fruit that will change your destiny forever. Yeah “She Gave Us Magic” rolls like that.

A bonanza of guitar oriented big ass sound , fans of 70’s heavy rock will rejoice as Black Gasoline takes us back, but all the while going straight ahead into the 21st and beyond. So name your poison, the sign says real rock ahead.

Accept no substitute; “All Night” is a “moon light drive on the wildside”. Chance encounter, falling fast, femme fatal. Heavy and thick chords and Paul Deceglie neck pickup enhanced solo rule. Like riding an unsaddled stallion.

“Dir-ty White T-Shirt” has that little ol’ band feel, chock full of cowbell enhanced good times. Murky damn good. Kendall Newby keeps it tight and tough.

Reeling and a rocking, “Lady Ironwing” has a Steely riff with ample big attitude to boot. Take out your hatchet and call it Molly cause Black Gasoline be flirting with disaster..

Now here’s a yummy combination for you. “Castor Oil and Marmelade”. (Yeah Marmelade is supposed to be spelled that way.) Black Gasoline has their MOJO working overtime on this bluesy ball buster. Slung low, almost on the floor, “Can’t find the door”. Visions of Bob "The Bear" Hite ensue as lead vocalist Bobby Comfort, channels his crossroad demons.

Whether it be easy or need some, “A-C-T-I-O-N” is a rollicking kick in the pants that we all been begging for. Dead on delivery at a speedball rate. Kicker.

“Transmission Interlude” is instrumental in presentation and Soft White Underbellies in influence. Don’t go to the snack stand and remember to remove speaker from the window.

Non stop flight into “Coal Black Cloud” a big beat swamp boogie blow from the boys out of Kansas. No messing around allowed, they mean business. Fallout ending gives release.

“A Ghost is the Highway” features some excellent subdued Lovell Hickman organ that is the clam of the storm crashing all around. Another ballsy bad boy blues hit. Who could go wrong with an alligator suitcase? Get out of town before the shit hits the fan.

“Pesci” is a brain scrambling full tilt rocker that gets the blood a flowing. Come on, I dare you not to love this fucker. And you will love a girl that “Smiles like a criminal”.

Modern influences not withstanding, listeners may feel the vibe of Incubus and Monster Magnet on “Sattellite Girl” (Sattellite is suppose to be spelt that way) , but I heard some White Demons bred with Thrill Deluxe spewing nothing but bad ass.

It’s an epidemic of full magnitude as “The Fever” spreads throughout the land. Almost a demonic vaudevillian presentation of sorts in the change up. Brings to mind some eerie images. Then the big thrust of energy emerges. “Remember that you heard it from me”. Love the lead as it breaks.

Thee spell has been cast and the Kumar Columbian Mind Cloud has taken hold of your senses. And what better soundtrack to the euphoria then “The Boy Who Destroyed the World”. Trippy, alluring and arena bound cosmic prelude to a final cut with something to prove. Beating tom toms as the rock and roll massacre erupts with Scotty Badheart pulverizing. Take a trip in and take a trip out.
