You ain’t rocked, till you rolled. Memories of the soda shop down the strip, punk on the box, gum under the table, the smell of leather and spray. Your baby wearing the fishnet stockings that you tore last night, the tell tale hickey. Bubble gum popping lipstick, utter sweet coos of love affair hangover. Digging the do, bang, bang, bang. Hey there’s Kimie and Rob, Roxy and Space, Trigger and Steph. All hanging, bopping. Chip in on fries, a soda or two. Causing a commotion, teenage angst in the air, and they say we’re going nowhere.

Going somewhere was The Bobbyteens and today we spin their second 7” release on Super Team records released in 1992. The cuts, “Hot City Boy” and “You’re Too Young for Me”. Intentional under production or just cut rate issue, the 45 crackles with in the red sonic shriek. Dirty pop punk skivvy. Fodder for teenage wetdreams, these girls, and a guy, produced masturbatory mayhem for pubescent punkers. If you listen to this release, and are not sexually aroused, you’re dead.
