Quick, what do you do when critics praise your current work, using terms like “the band has matured and grown” and “the sound is refined and heading in the right direction”. Well, like any sensible band you would rip those critics’ appendages off one by one and suck the marrow out of the pencil neck geek’s bloody stump!
Mmmm, nothing like music critics’ flesh to dine on before ripping into a set of raw, no holds barred, double nelson, pile driver head crashers conjuring up demons and ghosts of rock and roll past.
Pulchritudinous girls will be shakin those well rounded hips to the sex beat and craving the Brimstone hammer drill.
From the kick off of “Last Time” to “La Loba” this release in the rare CD format will create huge wind velocities even from your cheapo computer speakers.
Easy comparisons would be Jeffrey Lee Pierce and the Gun Club drinking with Lux Interior of the Cramps while Deniz Tek from Radio Birdman and John Felice of The Real Kids set the club on fire with their no nonsense riffs, licks and all round true rock n roll spirit.
This has got to be on my top 10 list for best record of 2009. Oblivians, Cheater Slicks….no nonsense ….fuck the lobster bib and drink the butter, MMMM A high calorie diet of “let me tell you sonny the way rock and roll use to be played.” LOUD, screaming out …A wop bop a loo bop a lop bam boom. Get it…Got it ....Good.
