Deep within the bayou where the moss forms tunnels through the lonely back roads. Distant headlights give brief glimpses of frogs littering the cracked asphalt.

A lone individual with minimal teeth and weathered overalls rocks back and forth carving patterns on the wood porch. From his dilapidated radio, swamp water pours from the only working speaker. The Chrome Cranks fill his moonshine soul with a heavy nod of dirty blues and forgotten “Birthday Party” jazz from hell. Chronic Cranks of trash lids on guitar strings, broken bottles and broken spirits. Summoning the spirits of Pierce and running over bullfrogs with Detroit made Funhouse fusion.

Deep from the darkest recesses of guttural, primitive larynx destroying pangs of thrusting convulsions. Peter Aaron gives John Brannon (Laughing Hyenas) a bare-knuckle punch out challenge.

Spread between two cd’s and comprised of rarities, demos and other treasures will fill a void in any completists coal filled heart. A firm welcoming jolt throwing handshake to newcomers will invite them in, eat them up and have them exploring more from this under rated band that jumped off the merry go round way too soon.
