“I hate you, you hate me, that’s the way it’s suppose to be” is the pleasant how do you do in the most mysterious piece of wax. A four track 7” EP that includes three live tracks and one studio recording from wrestling mask wearing marauders with names like El Puma Diablo (vocal, guitar), The Behemoth (bass), Agent Gusto (Drums) and Pheonix 566 (guitar).

The live tracks sound like they were recorded on your dad’s or dads dad’s portable cassette player in some decrepit shit-hole where you certainly would not want to use the bathroom. Come to think of it, the song that appears to have been actually recorded in a recording studio sounds as if they used that same portable cassette recorder to capture a live jam there as well. Quality seemed to not be a concern on this 7” which hails from I guess the mid nineties. (I cannot actually confirm the release date.) But the quality, or lack of, gives this release the endearment factor.

Blowing my mind with a rollicking fifties, blues laden progression peppered with a severe tongue lashing is “You Better Split”. So raw, it’s like an exposed bone sticking thru meat. El Puma Diablo just blows the throat accompanied by primitive pulsations. Whoa!

My first impression of “Amazing Jungle Beat” is a direct and possibly deliberate lift from The Cramps. Growls and wails are the only vocal distinguishable in this horror laden freak fest. Ray-gun fifties monotonies manifest with monster mask and sixties spook. Quick, wish it into the corn field!

Get into the ring with “Wrestling Ghoul”. A grotesque bikini beach blowout bonanza bequeaths. Kind of like Wacky Packages, Mad Magazine, Ratfink and Captain Action all rolled into one. Mazooma!

With a chord progression sounding awfully similar to a classic Alter original is the sole studio offering called “Lucky Space Dice”. Preceeded by a sultry femme fatale offering a blow of the dice, this drudge laden reverb rocker is an assault on the sences. Grease up the gasser. Oh goody!

Destined forever to be a surf-garage horror wrestling classic, The Galactic Blasters “Rock N Roll Space Wrestlers from The Outter Limits” will fill the air waves in our cosmos and beyond. Blast Off!
