Do you like it dirty, fast, sweaty, smelly, pulsating, throbbing, faster-slower-faster-slower, ahhh ahhh, yes, yes, yes, oh my god. Well so do I.
Johnny Thursday and the Friday Knights serve up a back alley delight of dirty street rock and roll. Vocally at times sounding like Bon Scott had just gargled with Ajax mixed with the street appeal of early Rose Tattoo.
These fine young purveyors of lust and sin wallop you upside the head so fast that your friends will swear they just saw the best Linda Blair impersonation ever. Now that is not to say that I spewed green pea soup out of my tooth filled hole upon hearing this release however I was heard to exclaim “ Johnny Thursday and the Friday Knights lay me on the altar of Rock and Roll and take my savage soul”. “Save me from the do- gooders dressed in white knocking at my door with cute little kids trying to sell their wares. Help Me”!
Johnny Thursday and the Friday Knights bombinated around my skull for eons. Get down on your knees and they will forgive you for going to that Depeche Mode concert last week.
