Continue to get Hammered in 2009, with the new and long anticipated release of The Lovehammers CD entitled ‘Let Me Out’.
The Lovehammers have long been a part of the Chicago modern rock scene. With their range of euphonic ballads and hard rocking songs, this band continues to sell out venue after venue.
Consisting of Marty Casey (Vocals), Billy Sawilchik (Guitars), Dino Kourelis (Bass), and Bobby Kourelis (Percussion).
They debuted #1 on the Billboard charts for there 2004 ‘Live/Raw’ DVD and have been interviewed within countless publications.
Marty Casey, gathered an innumerable amount of new fans to the Lovehammers already massive fan base, with his impassioned run on the television sensation Rockstar: INXS and #1 msn.com download for the song ‘Trees’.
Opening for such talents as Nickleback, Jerry Cantrell, Interpol, New Found Glory, and Cake and Gomez, the Lovehammers have achieved what few bands ever have. This level of success can be greatly attributed to the bands talent, work ethic, dedication to their craft.
Featured most recently on WGN 9 Chicago morning show and performing at the Chicago Hyatt’s NYE show, The Lovehammers continue to prove they are ready to conquer the world!
Now with the ambitious undertaking of, Dino Kourelis, this new CD has not only been given life, but also a kick ass attitude to go along with it.
"This CD is something I have wanted to do for over a year, and I am very excited to finally share it with everyone. "Let Me Out" will feature new LOVEHAMMERS songs, songs that are mixed the way LH wanted them mixed but the Label and Management didn't want you to hear, and will also include Live versions, Acoustic versions, and Demo versions so people can see and hear how these songs developed. There will also be some hidden tracks that I promise won't disappoint. The new CD featuring vocals from Marty Casey, will consist of 5-6 new songs from the band, remixed songs, and endless sea of gratification for all the Lovehammers fans out there or anyone looking for one long satisfying ride. In all, that is 17 -18 songs estimated to be on this CD.
