‘Twas the night before Hall’ween and rednecks convened
In a strip joint so nasty, obviously never cleaned
Some guys at the bar watched the girls dance the pole
The tables and floor filled with fans new and old
The Luchagors and Bigfoot were the bands there to see
Friends and “family” were there, and then there was me
The floor was all sticky from liquor and beer
If from anything else, I don’t want to hear…….. (afterall it’s a strip joint)
The name of the singer of The Luchagors is Amy
But she’s aka Lita of WWE
Dressed as Wendy O’Williams meets Brody Dalle
Her bi-colored mohawk stood like 3 feet tall
Shane Morton, her husband, was a 70s black man
And he did it so well, I had to say damn!
The rest of the band were zombies of course
And The Luchagors once again took the stage with full force
Their punk dipped in rock was aggressive and fun
Everyone was pumped even after they were done
The alcohol flowed nonstop but I only had one shot
Some people were costumed, but our posse was not
And then came the moment the one we waited for
Bigfoot hit the stage and we screamed over the roar
Southern rock with mean drums, guitar solos fuckin’ rad
Evil Jim’s a guitar God, my fav. I might add
Lead singer Jett’s hairy, and a great frontman too
These guys rule Stoner Rock much better than you
Yeah your band ain’t got shit on Bigfoot, my friends
It’s the God honest truth- I don’t mean to offend
When rock is their forte, so much talent’s on their side
“They hail from Atlanta”, and I say it with pride
This poem’s quite long, and you know how it’s fashioned
But 20 plus more lines?! I don’t have the passion
Just know I love Bigfoot cos they rock off my face
And if you don’t check ‘em, then you’re a fuckin’ disgrace
To all things rock- stoner, southern, and hard
I’m losing my wittiness, turning into a ‘tard
So I’ll end this here and now ‘fore I make it a mess
American by birth, but for being Southern I’m blessed
