White Lion, Ratt and Little Caesar performed at the House of Blues in Hollywood on Friday, April 18th.The first band to perform was Little Caesar. This was Little Caesar’s first high profile show in Los Angeles in a few years. Little Caesar has reported that they are moving forward in 2008 with a vengeance with plans to launch a new website, release new music and a historical DVD, as well as further touring. The band also is scheduled to perform at Safari Sams on May 10th alongside Junkyard and Rhino Bucket, and I plan to be there to catch up with Loren Molinare (Guitar +Vocals) and speak with him about what kind of plans are in the works for them.

The next band up was White Lion. I was very excited to see this band play, as I am very good friends with Troy Patrick Farrell (drums) and I never actually got a chance to see the original line up back in the day. They opened up their set with “Hungry” off of the “Pride” record, and continued to rip through a set of classics including, “Wait”, “Tell Me”, “Lady of the Valley” & “Little Fighter”. They ended the set with “El Salvador" and Golden Earings’ “Radar Love” I was very impressed by their performance and even though the band consist of a new line up, they delivered the goods!, My hat is off the Mike Tramp(Vocals) for keeping the White Lion spirit alive. White Lion has a new release, entitled “Return of the Pride” that will be dropping here in the states on April 30th. The band is currently on tour in South America and through out Europe and plan to tour the states starting in October in support of the new release.

Finally in was time for RATT to grace the stage and they came out with guns blazin, tearin through all the popular songs starting with the first album in its entirety. They continued to deliver kick ass tune after kick ass tune, off of damn near every RATT record, with tunes like: “Wanted Man”, “Lack Of Communication”, “I’m Insane”, “Slip Of The Lip”, “your In Love” & “Lay It Down” The band was in top shape and rocked with a flawlessness that I could not get enough of, I had my fist pumping in the air through out the whole set. Stephen Pearcy (vocalist) mentioned that this was their 25 years later tour and I was please to be seeing him back together with the “RATT Gang”! During the set, Stephen Pearcy also mentioned to the audience that a new record was in the works and that we should be seeing a new release shortly.
