The clock was set, the countdown was on. Fans held their breath for the long awaited Sin City Sinners debut album "Exile on Fremont Street", release Valentine’s Day. Exile on Fremont Street, produced by front man Todd Kerns contains 11 catchy rock songs that hook and reel you right in for a fun time that doesn’t even require the faux Vegas atmosphere. That’s because we’re dealing with a real rock n’ roll band, the pocket aces of Las Vegas.

Sin City Sinners are not your garage band, neither are they a tribute band (although they’ll rock the hell out of ANY cover song). SCS are four musicians that came together following their own successes in the music scene. They certainly answered my desperate plea, “Where are the rock bands in Vegas??” Brent Muscat (Faster Pussycat), Todd Kerns (Age of Electric, Static in Stereo), Michael Ellis, and Rob Couronyer (Raging Slab) have all answered that with their arms outstretched and picks/drumsticks in hand…RIGHT HERE!

The proof is in the pudding, or at least in this case in their songs. “Numb”, “It’s Not You It’s Me”, and “Probable Cause” are sure-fire, get-you-out-of-your-seat, radio friendly hits. For those of you stuck on the Vegas highways (or any freeway for that matter) “Blow Up Doll” and “My True Love” will certainly come in handy, especially if you are accompanied by either of the two suggested in the titles. The beautiful “Arianna Incomplete” is the song I suspect will hit home with it’s aching theme and melody. Sin City Sinners even included the Donny Iris hit “Ah Leah” and a surprise Vegas ending to the album that you can only hear if you buy it (and I’m recommending this on ALL levels).

Those that are fortunate to hear Sin City Sinners live know that being at any of their shows is like being at one big house party with a killer band and lots of friends. Always a good time, the Sinners have brought in special guests such as Phil Lewis (L.A. Guns), Joey Belladonna (Anthrax), Blas Elias (Slaughter), Bruce Kulick (KISS), George Lynch (Dokken/Lynch Mob), Vinnie Paul (Pantera)…the list goes on and on. Without question, everyone in the showroom is rockin’ out both onstage and on the dance floor. Unlike the typical stadium concerts where the rock gods are a distance from reality, Sin City Sinners welcomes them onto their stage in a more intimate setting…the ultimate experience for any die-hard fan and for now, only experienced in Vegas.

Sure enough, the countdown on the clock has sounded, the pocket aces hit the table, and the rest of us are celebrating a sure win with the Sinners. Well played gentlemen!
