Hot fucking damn! Lookie what we got here. A brand spanking new release from Swedish rockers Starlet Suicide. The second I got a hold of it I had an instant hard on. I have been yearning for a blast of sleaze powered mayhem with a splash of pain for a while now. And this fits the bill.

Keeping with the yearly tradition of a 4 song EP release, this is the third such effort and the bands momentum is as strong as ever. I keep wondering when some big time label will get off their fucking asses and sign this band to do a full length release. That would so rock.

Packed with teen angst, power punch, barbed hooks and infectious rock nuggets you have got to jack this release.

“Makin All the Noise” would make Joan Jett jealous with a flawless rock runaway intro, glass breaking over your head guitars and attitude, attitude, attitude! Jennyfer Star really sinks her teeth into this one. Bite me! The smell of hairspray and wine, they need to bottle that shit.

You know that bitch that just keeps trying to steal your significant other? Well “Heartless” is dedicated to all such ho’s. Male or female. Back away you wrecker.

“Shake It Up’ does just that. New lead guitarist Dallas Chrome (having replaced Theodor Paine in January 2006) delivers some sizzling Thunders/Frehley type riffs that you are sure to love. Sex with your ex comes to my mind while listening to this song, although I doubt that is what Jennyfer had in mind when she took pen in hand. But no matter, music is all about interpretation, yours and the artists. And sometimes the two shall never meet.

Leaving us wanting more is “Dirt”. A raunchy, soulful ditty that finds Jennyfer feeling like such. Heart on a sleeve and liking it. Passionate plus passionate equals passionate plus.

Now speaking of jacking this release, you can do it with the bands blessing as it is available in full at either the bands web site or at their myspace page. Get to it!
