"Literally in a midnight session last week, the House Armed Services Committee tucked a dangerous provision into the huge Defense authorization bill. With it, Congress took one more step towards passing a law for endless worldwide war. The new law would use American military forces against terrorism suspects everywhere and anywhere. If you didn't hear about this provision, you're not alone. It was added to the bill by Rep. Buck McKeon (R-Calif.), and it could become the single biggest ceding of unchecked war authority to the executive branch in modern American history. Outrageously, there have been no hearings on the worldwide war legislation, nor has its necessity been explained by Rep. Buck McKeon or anyone else in Congress.

Unlike the legislation that authorized the Afghanistan War and the pursuit of Osama bin Laden, the proposed new and expanded law to go to war does not even require a specific threat of harm to the United States. In fact, the proposed authorization would allow war wherever there are terrorism suspects in any country around the world without an expiration date, geographical boundaries, or connection to the 9/11 attacks or any other specific harm or threat to the United States. It's outrageous that, just as the majority of Americans eagerly await the ramping down of our efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan, Congress is acting under the cover of darkness to pass a new law for a worldwide war." OBAMA NATION: HOORAY FOR HIT-SQUADS???

In spite of worldwide skepticism, regarding the ever shifting details of the alleged assassination of former(?) CIA asset, Osama Bin Laden, the Disney corporation has copyrighted the phrase, "Seal Team Six" to market more useless plastic shit, made in Chinese swet shops, to condition our children to romantisize more government death-squads. How "democratic". Even folks who are prone to believing the "official story" of 9/11, all understand that the "W.M.D.'s" story was pure propaganda, manufactured by the Bush gang, to justify killing a million and a half people in Iraq, and invading Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Yemen. Our President says we aren't the kind of people to circulate photographs of dead people, like sick trophies, but that is exactly what the U.S. did after killing Hussein's sons, supposedly, for their opulent lifestyles at the expense of the poor, the war crimes of torturing, and using bio-warfare on their own citizens. Remember? A review of the Afghan military documents revealed more than 1,100 instances of US-led forces -- including Danish troops -- having used white phosphorus (WP) grenades, rockets and bombs, the Danish daily, "Information" reported.

According to one document, US-led forces fired 20 to 50 WP rockets at a single target. Many of the WP munitions have often been used in residential areas. White phosphorus is a substance that burns upon coming into contact with human flesh; it sticks to the skin and continues to burn as long as there is oxygen. The result is severe and possibly lethal chemical burns. According to international conventions the use of white phosphorus is to be restricted exclusively to areas that are not densely populated. However, the leaked documents from Afghanistan indicate that the WP has been used as an attack weapon in populated areas, including zones where the Danish troops are deployed. The widespread use of white phosphorus by US-led forces has prompted concern among rights groups. 'White phosphorus must not be used against civilians or in areas inhabited by civilians,' said Peter Vedel Kessing, a senior researcher at Denmark's Department of Human Rights. Amnesty International has also called for an investigation into the use of the substance in Afghanistan."

Events take place beyond our knowledge of control. You can't believe anybody on TV. The Saturday Night Live and Comedy Central corporate comics, the faux journalists, the so-called political analysts, they never question the military, spy apparatus, false flag attacks, inhumane occupations, or remote control slaughter of innocents. They're all coloring inside the lines, reading the teleprompter, under control, and on the take. Obama triangulates like Clinton, totally doing the bidding of the neo-cons, without being held accountable by the left. His liberal-loathing administration begs to face a progressive challenger in the primaries-either Grayson, or Kucinich, or many of his former supporters will probably vote for Republican, Ron Paul. What a tool Obama is, a mere marketing strategy, a cog in the endless-war machine, a fraud, what a disappointment. Vetted for his malleable acquiesence to the secretive permanent government, he's skillfully handled by members of the CFR, AIPAC, the generals, banksters, and Wall St., and like his predecessors, he basically just reads a teleprompter. Consider his assassination programs. The Fema camps all over the U.S.A., his torture camps at Gitmo and Bagram. His JSOC drones bombing children in villages who've done nothing to harm his bosses, the weapons manufacturers and war profiteers, the oil barons. His child molesting TSA, his shameless cover-up of the B.P./Halliburton ecocide in the Gulf, the union busting, the endless wars, the assassination of American human rights activists, by the Israeli navy, aboard humanitarian aid vessels to Gaza. Torture. The immoral and ruthless persecution of war crimes whistle-blowers. This guy is a Bush. The government, military, media, and big coporate monoplies are so powerful now, so corrupt, and stealing more freedoms from the people at such a rapid pace, it's hard to even know which cause should take priority. We got fluoride in our water, chem trails being sprayed by planes overhead, the NSA spying on our every phone call, the cars and phones and computers have tracking systems implanted, TSA fascists touch people sexually, to condition us to accept Israeli style dominance over civilians. The big media covers up white collar crime, war crimes, corporate crimes, and fails to go after Bush/Obama era torturers and those actually responsible for 9/11. Charlie Sheen and Rosie O'Donnel were the highest profile public figures to demand a new and impartial investigation into 9/11, that wasn't a Warren Commission style whitewash, and they have both since been slandered, and ostrasized by the corporate media executives, and both of them have lost their lofty positions on television. Donald Trump questioned how Obama got into such prestigious schools with average grades, and was similarly, attacked and condemned, by the establishment's permanently embedded, covert media-operatives. Our schools, nearly all affordable housing, and most U.S. infrastructure have been intentionally neglected, in favor of blowing up foreign countries and slaughtering brown people. All the living wage jobs have been offshored, all our farmers are committing suicide because of Monsanto, soldiers are killing themselves in record numbers, our downtowns were ravaged by Wal-Mart twenty years ago, and the prison industry is a booming. Always more non violent drug offenders to demonize and incarcerate, and Mothers to imprison for sending their kids to nearby school systems, in the hopes of helping their kids to receive a better education...all while private mercenaries "kill at will", and big business rapes and plunders, with a smile.

The Clintons pretended to be liberals, just like Obama, even while ushering-in NAFTA, which sent all the manufacturing jobs overseas, overseeing the continued bombing of Iraq, allowing Wal-Mart to kill off all the independent Mom And Pops, and to advance the Walton Family's obsessive anti-union agenda. If you work at Wal-Mart, the managers pull you off the floor to watch endless hours of anti-union propaganda, as part of your "orientation" process. If anyone murmurs anything about collective bargaining, or worker's rights, on the floor at Wal-Mart, they have a special snitch hotline, and union killers are immediately dispatched by corporate jet to isolate and punish anyone who dares question the enslaving corporate culture of Mister Sam. Why Americans continue to believe that either wing of the corporatist, imperialist, torturing, spying, groping, radiating, war-party has their interests at heart, is a mystery to me, except that Bill Clinton's 1996 Telecommunications Act allowed the media-monopolies to consolidate, and control the information flow, until a rational, anti-war, pro-union, or pro-human rights voice is almost never, never heard on the "popular" airwaves. Dr. Cornel west calls Obama, “a black mascot of Wall Street oligarchs and a black puppet of corporate plutocrats. And now, he has become head of the American killing machine and is proud of it.”

The big media is complicit in covering up the dangerous radiation leaking from the meltdown in Japan, the pollution destroying the Gulf, the harmful effects of all these food additives and high fructose corn syrup. They imply that killing Quadafi's grandchildren is somehow good or just. These are dark, dark times. Obama has greenlit Eric Prince creating another private mercenary army, for another rich dictatorship, United Arab Emirates. While we were all busy Facebooking (CIA surveillance grid) about the injustice of whichever say-nothing mediocrity was most recently kicked off of "American Idol", or "Dancing With The Stars", the government has steadily passed more fascist laws in recent weeks, continuing to undermine the Constitution, legalizing more warrantless gestapo invasions of your home, person, and electronic communications, dismantling the right to protect one's property. Texas is trying to outlaw the fondling of genitalia by the TSA, but the DHS fascists insist resistance is futile. They seize citizen's computers and telephones and copy their private information. Truth-telling whistle-blowers are classified under Obama (the New Nixon) as "enemies of the state". I have no idea why people would continue to work for a government like this. The U.S.A. has officially become everything they taught us was wrong about Russia-an elitist plutocracy spying on their own people, with bread lines, censorship, state-media, secret prison camps, constant surveillance, the persecution of peace, solidarity, and human rights activists, etc. As David Swanson notes, "Now we know why Obama has gone to such outrageous lengths to keep Bush's lawyers out of prison, claiming powers of secrecy and immunity beyond Cheney's wildest dreams and pressuring foreign nations to clamp down on any outbreaks of law enforcement. If the Bush lawyers who 'legalized' aggressive war, lawless imprisonment, and torture were not consulted on how to keep the war in Libya going in perpetuity, they were certainly the inspiration for the latest White House brainstorming session. Remember when Alberto Gonzales claimed that the U.S. Constitution gives no one the right to habeas corpus by merely asserting that if you had that right it could not be taken away? Amateur work.

Remember when John Yoo and Jay Bybee explained that a man tortured but never tried had no rights due to his guilt? Child's play. Remember when Bush suggested he might get a war with Iraq started by painting airplanes with UN colors, flying them low, and trying to get them shot at? He was the warm-up act. Obama's relationship with the U.S. Constitution, U.S. treaty obligations, and the War Powers Act is a mature performance, a masterpiece for the ages. The U.S. Constitution allows no president to launch a war. The War Powers Act makes an exception for cases in which the United States has been attacked by another nation. Libya did not attack the United States. So, the War Powers Act does not apply."

As a former vocalist with notorious "pitch problems", I always SCOFF at that former fill-in Journey bassist who's always moaning, "kinda, pitchy, dawg...", especially, being as how I just witnessed corporate, commercial icon, Stevie Nicks, croak out an entire song outta key, on one of those bullshit brainwash-tv shows...Maybe somebody should start a post, punk-mock, punk band called the Pitchy Dogs! I'm so sick of television...I keep telling my old pals-there's more to life than "Overhauling" and "Deadliest Catch". TV just fuggin' shapes our unreality in this country, makes it seem okay, to slay brown children, for no good or true cause, whatsoever. TV makes it seem okay for cops to bust down your door with guns drawn because they suspect you might be smoking pot. Disgusting. With the conspicuously silent complicity of soldout Obama style Dems, the corporatist rightwing had become emboldened, and gone on the offensive-attacking the Fourth Amendment, Peace Activists, Planned Parenthood, Acorn, ACLU, school teachers, planting complete falsehoods in the corporate press, controlling who is hired at universities, and undermining our unions-our last somewhat still united institution, our last line of defense. I'm always complaining that no one in music's standing up for workers, whistle-blowers, peace, and social justice, anymore, but there are a few exceptional exceptions. Tom Morello and Wayne Kramer have been manning the barricades, defending the working people from fascist billionaires like the Koch brothers, and their scurrilous puppets like Walker and the other Koch funded, lunatic, robber baron governors of Ohio, Michigan, Florida, etc., etc..! These shameless robber baron oligarchs are cooking the books to orchestrate fake fiscal emergencies--imposing phony "crisis managers" (corporate hit-men) and actually dissolving townships, school boards, and locally elected officials, with no noise being made by the name brand establishment Democrats. If you fancy yourselves leftwing or rightwing, we are all being lied to by a lawless government, extremist neo-con think-tanks, and their million dollar public relations firms, and military psy-op teams. Please do join the Madison movement, get involved, help reclaim democracy, fight for freedom, repeal the fascist Patriot Act, restore the Constitution, and end the bullshit, imperialist oil wars!
