8. Let’s talk song titles, can you tip us off to some, and what is the new album to be called?

At the moment, we are just demo-ing new songs to potentially be on the album… but we haven’t gone into production as yet. My management feels that it’s necessary to keep the new song titles under wraps for the time being… BUT… if you come to CrueFest in July, maybe you’ll pick up a few! ;-)

I haven’t even really thought much about an album title!! I think ideas for that will start to evolve once we’re well into production, so we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.

9. Aqua Net or Rave?

Aqua Net, baby!!! Another great one I’ve been using lately is “Hard Head” by Bed Head. “…The more you use, the harder it gets.” If you know what I mean.

10. In July you will be playing at CrueFest in Hollywood. Who will be in your band when you hit the stage?

I’m sooo stoked about CrueFest this summer! It’s gonna be soooo outta control!!

The lineup is:

Pauly on drums

Dean Truitt on guitar

Kevin Ketchum on bass

I’ll do a couple songs with my guitar as well.…and I’m demanding my OWN dressing room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11. What other Sabrina Korva shows stand out in your mind?

Well, the first real gig of my own, playing with a band, was when I was 14. I put a show together in Vancouver to raise some money for the local fire department right after 9/11. I was actually in Florida doing some recording on September 11th, so I saw how terried everyone was during that time. It was just chaos.

The show turned out to be a great experience… my family was there, friends of the family, my friends from school… it just felt so comfortable to be surrounded by so many familiar faces. In addition, the place was packed and we ended up raising 800 dollars for the fire department!

The last show my current band played was pretty awesome… at the Bovine Club in Toronto for Canadian Music Week. It’s definitely a festival worth attending… I’ve gone the past couple of years and had a blast both times! We sold out our show, so the place was packed! There was a lot of positive energy and excitement that night, so everybody had a great time!!

12. Where do you like to shop?

I love shopping, period! Hahahaa… I love CD stores… and I love Hollywood rock shops! Basically, any place that sells leather, pleather, chains, belts, boots and the like is fine by me! Oh yeah, and my favourite place to shop for cowboy boots is “Boot Star” on Sunset at La Cienega. You can get ‘em in ANY colour there… that place rules my shoe closet!

13. Leather or PVC?

Hmmm… really depends on my mood. Right now… leather, baby! Sometimes I just can’t make up my mind, so… BOTH! …PVC underneath… and the leather pants on top!

14. Rockers worldwide want to know, are you in a relationship?

I’m in a relationship with myself. HAHAHAHAA! The only person… or ‘thing’, I wake up with in the morning is me. Hahahaa… and that’s MORE than enough- TRUST me!

15. If you could work with any talent in the world, who would that be?

Slash, Axl Rose, Steven Tyler, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Jimmy Page, George Lynch… I could go on for days!

16. What artist has inspired you the most in the creation your art?

It’s so hard for me to credit just one artist, as I’ve been inspired my all the music I’ve ever gotten into. I go through intense listening phases with each band I really ‘get into’. For example, when I got into listening to all of the early U2 music, it was all I listened to for a while. So of course their music really inspired me during that time. When I went through my Alice In Chains phase, I was writing a lot of darker songs. Then when I started really getting into Led Zeppelin, I began to discover my acoustic guitar a lot more.

I’m really rockin’ out to Megadeth right now, and as a result am playing some heavier, more ‘metal’ guitar riffs.

So really it just all depends on what I’m into at the moment.

With regard to attitude, talent and showmanship, artists who have really had an impact on me are Steven Tyler, Bono, Axl Rose and David Lee Roth.

17. Tough or Timid?

…Timid? HA! As Mick Jagger would say:

“When it comes to fighting

Trying to play it rough

I will take you twenty rounds

I'm just too tough, too tough”

…yeah… I’m just a little ‘Hard To Handle’!

18. Once you “Rock On The Wild Side”, is there really no coming back?

Chances are, there’s NO coming back!! …It’s not that you can’t, it’s more that you don’t WANT to!!!! Rock n roll is all about livin’ on the edge! …and who doesn’t wanna rock!?

Once you take a bite of the wild side, you’ll keep comin’ back for more, baby!

19. Any last word to your fans and SugarBuzz readers?
